Certified Peer Support Specialist - Multiple Openings
The Peer Support Specialist provides peer support services to clients experiencing mental illness, chronic health condition(s), and/or homelessness. The Peer Support Specialist is an active member of the integrated care team and functions as a role model to peers, exhibiting competency in personal recovery and the use of coping skills; serving as a patient advocate and providing information and support. Performs a wide range of tasks to assist patients in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own recovery process. Through skill building and other supportive interventions, the Peer Support Specialist can assist fellow consumers/patients in effectively utilizing resources, managing symptoms of their illness, and developing daily living skills to gain greater independence.

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Executive Director of Operations, provides oversight and direction to the SUD Behavioral Health Team for daily clinical operations. The Director of SUD Services works collaboratively with the staff of the clinical programs to ensure compliance with agency and clinical standards, as well as federal, state, local and third-party payer expectations. This person will develop and maintain operations to maximize clinical efficiencies and quality objectives while achieving productivity requirements. Evidence Based Supported Employment (EBSE), also known as Individual Placement Support (IPS), or Employment Specialist is a core component of recovery for adults with a severe mental illness. The intent of the program is to ensure that adults with a severe mental illness achieve and maintain desired community-based employment that pays at least minimum wage, while performing the same work alongside others without psychiatric disabilities, to increase self-sufficiency and decrease dependence on public systems of care. The Employment Specialist provides support and guidance to individuals to discover and enhance their strengths and ensure their success in employment positions. Assists individuals enrolled in the EBSE program, in obtaining and maintaining employment that is consistent with their vocational goals and recovery. Must have the ability to coach, teach and motivate others.
